It’s Not About The Golf

The Heather Miller Memorial Golf Classic raises money to award College Nursing Scholarships to local students and to support other deserving charities and potential stipends in the name of Heather Miller. Heather was 21 years old, and just weeks away from graduating from WVU School of Nursing. She was the passenger in a drunk driving crash in March 2008. One week after the crash, March 31 2008, Heather was declared brain dead.
Heather was a registered organ donor.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, 247 nursing scholarships/renewals have been awarded to local students. We have funds in the Ohio County Schools Foundation as well as the WVU School of Nursing Foundation. We are a 501(c3) non-profit organization.
